Certified Scrum Developer (CSD)

<p>NO. As per the new CSD curriculum, CSD is a separate foundation course which does not require you to attend the CSM class. In fact the course is designed to teach CSM topics as well as a Certified Scrum Developer.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Our CSD course curriculum follows Scrum Alliance guideline and covers all topics of Scrum in details for one full day and more. So if you are a developer, team member, QA, DevOps/SRE engineers then you do not need to attend CSM anymore to understand Scrum. If you want to add another certificate in your bag, then you can definitely go for that.&nbsp;</p>

<p>There is no test requirement for CSD Certification. You need to attend 2 days class to complete the certification.&nbsp;</p>

<p>It is a two day long course or 14 hours of minimum learning for online based course.&nbsp;</p>

Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)

<p>For online offering, training duration is 14 hours at least and for in class offering, duration is 16 hours.&nbsp;<br></p>

Successfully attending the two-day, in-person or live-online course taught by a Certified Scrum Trainer® (CST®) will result toward certification.</p><p style="margin-bottom: 0px; color: rgb(94, 97, 103); font-family: Arial, &quot;Helvetica Neue&quot;, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">After completing the course, you will receive a welcome email from Scrum Alliance® prompting you to accept the license agreement for your CSPO certification. After accepting the agreement, you will be able to download and print copies of your certification.</p>

<p>Those who aspire to earn a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) certification are required to take an in-person, two-day (16 hour) CSPO course or a live-online 14-hour CSPO course with one of our certified trainers and/or receive 25 hours of private coaching from a Certified Agile Coach (CAC). Upon successfully completing the training, you will receive a certification account on our website where you will be able to access your newly earned CSPO certification.</p><p>Although we acknowledge that individuals may have prior experience with the Scrum framework or received training from a different Scrum-certifying body, we believe that hands-on, interactive learning with our experienced trainers and coaches is fundamental when learning about the role of the Product Owner. Those who earn a Certified Product Owner designation demonstrate a clear understanding of the CSPO Learning Objectives addressed in the in-person course.<br></p><p>Please note that all approved courses that lead to CSPO certification are found on ScrumAlliance Course Search page; they must be taught by a Certified Scrum Trainer®, Certified Team Coach®, and/or Certified Enterprise Coach®. If you found a CSPO class through a third-party, please ensure it is listed on our Course Search page or contact support@scrumalliance.org to ensure its validity toward Scrum Alliance's CSPO certification.<br></p>

Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

<p>For online offering, training duration is 14 hours at least and for in class offering, duration is 16 hours.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Yes, CSM requires you to pass an online exam to complete your certification.&nbsp;</p>

<p>After completing your CSM course, you will receive an email from Scrum Alliance that includes a link to create your login credentials. You will use those credentials to gain access to the Online CSM Test.</p><p>To pass the test, correctly answer 37 out of the 50 questions within the 60-minute time limit<br></p><p>You will have two attempts within 90 calendar days after you receive your initial welcome email to pass the test at no cost. After two attempts and/or 90 calendar days, you will be prompted to pay $25 USD for each additional attempt.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br></p><p>Please note that if you've already passed the CSM test, you will not be able to take it again to receive a better score. Your test score is only accessible to you; your instructor or other certificants are not able to see how you performed on the CSM test.</p>
