1. Introduction

TechMasters is committed to customer satisfaction. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are available for our online training courses and subscription plans. Key Point: Most TechMasters subscription plans are non-refundable after the refund window has expired. However, we offer a limited refund window under specific conditions as outlined in this policy.

2. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

TechMasters offers a 14-day money-back guarantee for eligible customers. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days from the date of your initial purchase, provided that you meet the eligibility criteria outlined in Section 3 of this policy.

⚠️ Important Note: The 14-day refund window begins on the date of your purchase and is your only opportunity to receive a refund. After 14 days have passed, refund requests will not be accepted.

3. Refund Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for a refund, the following conditions must be met:

  • Within 14 Days: Your refund request must be submitted within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase.
  • Class cancelled/rescheduled: in case of a class cancellation or rescheduling, we offer a 100% refund options to our participants. 
  • Limited Course Access: You must not have completed more than 25% of the course content. This includes video lessons, assignments, and assessments.
  • No Certificate Used: You must not have downloaded, shared, or used any certificate of completion issued by TechMasters.
  • Valid Account: Your account must be in good standing and not suspended or terminated for violating our Terms and Conditions.
  • No Duplicate Access: You must not have already purchased the same course or a similar course package within the last 6 months.
  • First Purchase: For new users, this refund guarantee applies to your first purchase only. Subsequent purchases are non-refundable.

4. Refund Processing Timeline

Standard Refund Processing Time: 7-10 Working Days

Once your refund request is approved, TechMasters will process the refund to your original payment method within 7-10 working days from the date we receive and approve your refund request.

Note: This timeline begins after your refund is approved, not from the date of your request. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution and payment method used.

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 7-10 working days (may appear as pending credit during this period)
  • Digital Wallets (PayPal, Apple Pay, etc.): 7-10 working days
  • Bank Transfers: 7-10 working days (additional time may be required by your bank)

5. Non-Refundable Purchases

The following purchases and circumstances are NOT eligible for refunds:

  • Purchases made outside the 14-day refund window
  • Courses where you have completed more than 25% of the content
  • Purchases where a certificate of completion has been issued or downloaded
  • Special promotional or discounted course bundles (unless explicitly stated otherwise in the promotion terms)
  • Courses purchased using promotional codes, vouchers, or gift cards
  • Any purchases by users whose accounts have been suspended or terminated
  • Duplicate purchases or purchases of substantially similar content from TechMasters
  • Refunds previously granted to the same user
  • Purchases made in violation of our Terms and Conditions
  • Advanced or premium tier courses (unless eligible under this policy)
Note: If no refund policy or cancellation policy is available for specific courses or promotions, those purchases are non-refundable under all circumstances.

7. Refund Request Review Process

8. What Happens After a Refund is Approved

8.1 Account Access

Once a refund is approved and processed, your access to the course or subscription will be suspended. You will no longer be able to view course content, download materials, or access your assignments. Any certificates of completion will be invalidated.

8.2 Course Progress

All course progress, grades, and completed assignments will be permanently deleted from our system. You will not be able to retrieve this information after the refund is finalized.

8.3 Re-enrollment

If you wish to re-enroll in a course after receiving a refund, you will need to purchase it again at the current price. However, first-time refund customers are not eligible for the 14-day money-back guarantee on subsequent purchases.

9. Cancellation Policy

9.1 Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your TechMasters subscription at any time by logging into your account settings and selecting "Cancel Subscription." Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

9.2 No Prorated Refunds

Once a subscription period has begun, no partial or prorated refunds will be issued. You will retain access to all course materials until the end of your billing period, even if you request cancellation early.

9.3 Recurring Charges

If you do not cancel your subscription before the renewal date, your payment method will be charged for the next billing period. It is your responsibility to cancel your subscription before this date to avoid automatic renewal charges.

9.4 Reactivation

If you cancel your subscription, you may reactivate it at any time by logging into your account and selecting "Reactivate Subscription." You will be charged the current subscription rate upon reactivation.

10. Refund Status Tracking

You can track the status of your refund request at any time by:

  • Logging into your account and viewing the refund status in your account settings
  • Using the reference number provided in your confirmation email
  • Contacting our support team with your reference number

You will receive email updates at each stage of the refund process (received, under review, approved, processed, and completed).

11. Disputes and Chargebacks

If you file a dispute with your credit card company, bank, or payment processor regarding a TechMasters charge, we may suspend your account pending resolution of the dispute. If a chargeback is filed against us:

  • Your account may be permanently terminated
  • You will lose all access to courses and content
  • You will not be eligible for future refunds or compensation
  • TechMasters may pursue legal action to recover associated costs

We encourage you to resolve any billing issues directly with our support team before pursuing a chargeback.

12. Special Circumstances and Exceptions

TechMasters may, at its sole discretion, approve refunds outside the standard 14-day window or for purchases that do not meet the eligibility criteria in cases of:

  • Technical errors or system failures that prevent course access
  • Unauthorized transactions on your account
  • Significant changes to course content or curriculum after purchase
  • Extenuating circumstances approved by management
